Rotofl ex to display diversity of finishing solutions at Labelexpo Europe
At Labelexpo Europe 2017, Rotofl ex will present a diverse range of offline inspection, slitting and rewinding solutions during. As a total solutions partner of Mark Andy, Rotofl ex’s business responsive technologies will be presented with live demonstrations in Hall 4, Stand C45.
Making its debut in Europe, the Rotofl ex HSI with a horizontal design brings many benefi ts to operators in comfort and effi ciency. Designed for high volume label slitting, inspection and rewinding, the HSI is built with an extra-large inspection table, 37 inch (940 mm) high editing area, and an easily accessible slitting module. The HSI will show end-to-end servo control, web width of 330 mm, vision inspection, the latest controls and reporting systems and running speed reaching 1000 fpm (305 mpm).
Known for a high level of accuracy in demanding production environments, the servo-driven VSI is the Rotofl ex fl agship slitter rewinder for traditional roll-to-roll label inspection and fi nishing. Highlighted features to be shown at Labelexpo Europe include a small footprint design to maximize valuable production space, low working heights for effi cient operator use, high-speed vision inspection, web width of 330 mm, and ease of accessibility to the web path maximizing set-up and
change-over effi ciency. Live demonstrations of the Rotofl ex VLI for offl ine fi nishing of tension-sensitive unsupported fi lm will also be shown in Hall 4 on the EyeC Stand C61, integrated with the EyeC ProofRunner delivering 100% print inspection running at speeds of up to 600 meters per minute (2000 fpm). Kevin Gourlay, vice president of Rotofl ex, said, “We look forward to another edition of Labelexpo and the opportunity to showcase three of our slitter rewinders with intuitive interfaces, enhanced capabilities, and advanced print quality inspection systems. Each machine provides unique functionalities and design layout to meet the range of fi nishing requirements desired by printers and converters.”
