Konica Minolta’s newly launched AccurioLabel 230 is being showcased for the first time at its stand C12/C19 in Hall 8 at Labelexpo Europe 2019 in Brussels. At the show, Konica Minolta is demonstrating the easy-to-operate Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 highlighting its enhanced features that helps meet the growing market needs for shorter runs and offer better customization.
Konica Minolta says the AccurioLabel 230 is a new version of Konica Minolta’s digital label press bringing important benefits for customers in terms of productivity, flexibility, stability, and cost-effectiveness. The new model looks identical to its predecessor. However, the new 4-color AccurioLabel 230 has enhancements which include more accurate print registration, a significant increase in speed, improved productivity, an option for overprinting and with no warm-up required less wastage.
The 23.4 meters a minute speed represents a 73% increase because most tack paper and films (including PP and PET) can now be printed at full speed. The press can continuously print up to 1,000 meters without requiring recalibration, with the possibility of switching between two different substrate web widths (from 250 to 330 mm). Adding this option allows the AccurioLabel 230 to print seamlessly on media with a pre-printed white background on conventional flexo. An in-built speed detector for media feeding also cuts paper wastage. The press is targeted at small and mid-range segments and is claimed to be suitable for label printers, print providers, brand owners, packaging companies and commercial printers.
