Garware Polyester Ltd. participated in Labelexpo India 2018 with a new product offering – shrink labels. Shrink labels are usually used to wrap an entire label bottle, from top to bottom. With its new product, the company intends to increase its visibility in the labels segment. This is the third time the company is participating in Labelexpo India and says that with every edition, the show has been improving and attracting customers from wider areas.

“We have received good response at the exhibition. We never expected people to come in such huge numbers at our stand. We also generated some good queries. By the look of it, this show seems to have graduated to a whole new level and we will not hesitate to come back to the show again in the next edition,” says Jayesh Bharuka, manager at Garware Polyester Ltd.

During the show, the company displayed its flagship product, a high-shrink label with 70% shrinkage capacity wrap-around label which has the ability to replace small wrap-around labels to cover the entire bottle. This label helps in better branding of the product as the print-able area is increased.

“The label industry is doing quite well. It is growing by around 10-12% every year. With more customers shifting from traditional labels to high shrink labels, I think we could very well manage to sell the product to the masses. Also, the concept of shrink labels has been a huge hit in the overseas market. Our company exports 60-70% of its products to other countries while the local production and distribution stands at 30-40%. This is another factor which would help sell the product better in the market,” Bharuka concludes.
