Kama GmbH, a specialist for finishing solutions in sheetfed offset, digital printing, and digital packaging printing, has announced the appointment of Oliver Finkeldey as the new area sales manager for Greater China, South East Asia Pacific, Japan, and the countries in the Middle East and Southern Africa.
With Finkeldey, a trained printer and expert, the Germany-based machine manufacturer is bringing on board an industry insider with 26 years of experience in the printing industry, who has successfully worked in various management positions in sales and product development with a strong customer focus on the markets in the Far East.
“Kama has a reputation in Asia as a premium manufacturer for hot foil finishing equipment and we have the most installations in this area there,” says Finkeldey. “We now want to increasingly establish the highly automated Kama finishing solutions in digital packaging printing, where they make finishing more efficient and production more flexible for our customers with very fast job changes and high machine availability.”
Finkeldey will be supporting Kama’s sales partners with immediate effect including YouPrint Digital Technology in China, PM Trading in South Korea, C ILLIES in Thailand, Interworld in the Philippines, the Currie Group in the Pacific, Heidelberg in Japan, and Printech Trading in Middle Eastern countries to expand partnerships and strengthen Kama’s position in the region.
