At the 25th LMAI Conference in Udaipur, Kurz India, a manufacturer of thin-film technology and hot stamping foils for metallic and gold effects, emphasized the importance of innovation and sustainability in driving growth for the label industry.

The company showcased its latest technologies in digital embellishment and cold transfer decoration, which help create high-quality, eye-catching labels with less waste and more efficiency. Kurz India was the Platinum sponsor for the conference held from 3 to 6 July 2025.

A significant part of the company’s message focused on being environmentally responsible — introducing solutions such as Recosys that support recycling and the circular economy. Kurz highlighted how its global technologies can be tailored to meet the needs of the Indian market, helping local manufacturers stay competitive and future-ready.

During a panel discussion, Stéphane Royere of Kurz explained how narrow-web label printing can expand into new areas such as sleeves and in-mold labels (IML), and how digital and sustainable processes are shaping the future.

With the theme ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries,’ the event brought together over 600 professionals — including converters, suppliers, designers, and global experts — to explore what’s next for label manufacturing.

A strong focus was on sustainability and innovation. The conference encouraged participants to think beyond traditional boundaries and embrace global opportunities and new technologies.

According to Kurz India CEO Jitender Pal Singh, the event was a platform for real conversations, fresh ideas, and meaningful business connections.

“The roundtable sessions were especially impactful, allowing buyers and sellers to engage directly and build long-term partnerships. The agenda also covered key topics such as digital and hybrid printing, automation, and the circular economy. Apart from marking 25 years of LMAI, this conference was a clear signal of the Indian label industry’s ambition to grow, evolve, and lead on a global stage,” he said.

“The exhibits at the 25th LMAI Conference were very useful for everyone involved. It was the perfect place to connect with the right people, share ideas, and start new business relationships. Overall, the exhibition helped companies get noticed, build stronger networks, and move one step closer to a more innovative future for the label industry,” he said.
