The India Packaging Show 2008 is being organised between the 7th and 10th of August 2008 at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India concurrently with the India Automation Show  2008 and India AIDC Show  2008. It is expected to be the largest packaging event in India this year. There will also be a concurrent 2-day Conference called PackAge 2008 at the same venue.
According to our information, about 250 exhibitors from Europe, China, South East Asia and the USA have so far signed up for 5,000 square meters of net exhibition space for all three shows put together. Exhibitors who will have live equipment on display include major companies like Rajoo Engineers, Bosch Packaging/Bosch Rexroth, Nichrome, Oystar Hassia, Creed Engineers, Kohli Machines, BST Sayona, Packolabel, Sealed Air and ABB.

The Conference will feature 2 half-day sessions on Food, Pharma and Retail Packaging on the first day and one half-day session each on Conversion and Corrugated Packaging on the second.

The AIMCAL Converting School on Web Handling & Converting is being held at the same venue on the 6th and 7th of August 2008.

The India Packaging Show 2007 featured 213 exhibitors over 4,000 net square meters of space and drew 13,446 visitors from 37 countries.
