Videojet
At Intelpack, Videojet displayed different products to target the FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food processing, automobiles and chemicals industries

Videojet Technologies, part of Danahar Group and a leading coding and marking technology company was also present at Intelpack in Mumbai after its participation in PackPlus at Bengaluru. At Intelpack the company displayed its Videojet Unicorn II, DataFlex 6420 and the Videojet 8610 printers.

The Unicorn II is a compact inkjet printer that provides high quality, reliable and economical large character printing of one or two lines with the help of a bottle of porous ink. It can be programmed easily with nomenclature such as product names, identification numbers, and automatic production counts at the touch of a button. On a standalone bracket a print head is mounted at a standard height of 1 inch or other optional heights,
to print the nomenclature on the side of a box on a conveyor. The conveyor line speed can vary from 6.1 to 61.0 metres a minute. The ink system is internally regulated without any adjustment. The inkjet dot matrix characters can consist of either 7 x 5 or 16 x 10 addressable dots.

Pawan Dhapola, marketing executive, Videojet Technologies, said, “Fibre laser machines are generally used for engraving on metal parts, components or any metal bars like auto components. Engraving on watches, jewellery and Co2 laser machines is also done. Moreover, printing on FMCG product cartons like Kellogg’s India cornflakes and hard plastics covering every vertical is possible. To target the FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food processing, automobiles and chemicals industry we have displayed different products.”

Speaking about the market, Dhapola said, “Our company is growing at a fast pace so we have around 60 to 70% of the market share in the variable data printing industry. We also help our clients with customization support depending upon the volume of the project. We not only believe in quality products but also in after-sales services as a key reason for the growth of an organization. At Intelpack, we have received positive leads that can close within a month or a week.”
