At the Bharat Print Expo 2025 in Bengaluru, Greater Noida-based Robus India, a producer of carton packaging machines with a product portfolio of folder gluers, die-cutters, and laminators, conducted a live demonstration of the latest version of the Excellence Series automatic folder gluer with MES ready feature, which has been introduced for the first time in India. 

The machine on display had already been pre-booked to Bengaluru-based Global Printing & Packaging, a manufacturer of cartons, labels, and other allied products. Global Printing & Packaging exchanging it with its Swiss-made folder gluer, as it was looking to upgrade to a model with the latest features. The Excellence Series automatic folder gluer was sold to another customer at the expo.

“Even though it is the first edition, the overall arrangement, footfalls, and profiles of trade visitors at the Bharat Print Expo 2025. were remarkable,” Prem Vishwakarma, managing director, Robus India, said. He said they have a strong foothold in South India, with a fully dedicated service team for die cutting and folder gluers. The company participated with its sales and service team.

The latest version of the Excellence Series can monitor real-time production. The integration of ERP in the machine helps in seamless data transfer. The MES is perfectly designed to monitor the condition of the machine, which leads to a reduction in downtime, the company claims.

According to Vishwakarma, Robus India has so far installed around 200 units of the automatic folder gluer across India, as well as in Greece and Spain. Installations have also been carried out in Kuwait and Bangladesh as well.
