PackVision Expo 2025 officially opened on 29 May at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC) in Moshi, Pune, alongside the CorrVision Expo. The event being held from 29 to 31 May has drawn significant attention from key players across the packaging and corrugated materials industry. Over 255 exhibitors are showcasing their innovations at the expo.
The expo provides a platform for packaging professionals to discover developments in packaging materials, machinery, automation, and sustainability. The focus of PackVision 2025 revolves around emerging technologies, sustainable practices, artificial intelligence (AI), and smart automation.
The expo exhibits a broad spectrum of packaging segments, including food-grade packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, sustainable alternatives, automated systems, labeling, folding cartons, and corrugated box-making equipment.
The expo also features the India Food & Packaging Conference on 29 and 30 May. The conference features two key themes, ‘Packaging Precision: Performance, Protection & Design’, and ‘Scaling Success in Food Manufacturing: Solutions for a Growing Market.’
These sessions are designed to offer in-depth discussions on the evolving role of packaging in food safety, branding, operational efficiency, and market scalability. Industry experts, technology providers, and thought leaders are participating in these sessions to share insights, innovations, and forecasts for the sector.
Visitors to the expo have the opportunity to engage directly with leading manufacturers and suppliers. One such exhibitor is Markem-Imaje, a global leader in product identification, packaging intelligence, and connected product solutions.
A company spokesperson described PackVision Expo as an ideal opportunity for face-to-face engagement. “Personally, I have invited many of our existing customers, and even potential ones, to visit our stall and experience first-hand the solutions and technologies we provide. It’s a great platform to demonstrate our offerings,” she said.
Cybernetik, at the expo, is showcasing its capabilities in robotics and automation. The company has brought an interactive robotic interface with TikTok, which mimics the experience of playing a video game with attendees. The demonstration aims to emphasize how robotics can revolutionize modern packaging systems. Pritam Chougale, marketing manager, Cybernetik, said, “We expect various product manufacturers to stop by, as we are displaying our core strengths in automation, which is now a vital component in advanced packaging solutions.”
On the first day of the expo, Videojet, a key player in coding and marking systems, reported high engagement at their stall. Rohan Vivekanand Bhingardive, sales manager at Videojet, shared the team had witnessed a quality crowd and generated promising leads.
