Leading players from the industry such as Ishida India, Uflex, Banner Engineering India, Best Barcode Systesm, Pragati Pack, Maharshi Udyog, Chronos Richardson India, Orpac Systems, Hilda Automation, Hiwin Technologies Corporation – Taiwan, Domino Printech India, Mohindra Mechanical Works, Matrusree Electro Heats, Nilkamal, TAL Manufacturing Solution, Superpack Packaging Machines, Chamunda Pharma Tech and Clearpack India displayed their machines ranging from automation and supply chain to packaging and converting. The show served as a global networking and business platform for all the participants.

“We got a very positive response from the visitors at the show. Several inquiries were made and we look forward to convert them into deals very soon. The show was very well promoted and managed by the organizers,” said Sofiya Sheikh of Hilda Automation. The visitors at PackPlus South, though mostly had arrived from the various cities of South India, also attracted people from other parts of the country. “We have come all the way from Haryana with the objective of exploring the latest packaging machines. PackPlus, being a one-stop shop of packaging solutions, is the most informative and beneficial event for us. We never miss attending it,” said Manmeet Sethi from Gurukripa Solutions.

“PackPlus South received stupendous response at HITEX, Hyderabad. This puts to rest any apprehensions that the industry may have had post partition of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state. It also means that we can look forward to a much bigger exhibition when we return here in 2018. Meantime, we look forward to our bi-annual expedition to Bangalore next year,” said Neetu Arora on behalf of the organizers. The next edition of PackPlus will be held at Bangalore from 5 to 8 April 2017.

Packaging South Asia is the cooperating media partner for drupa 2016 which is scheduled to be held from 31 May to 10 June at Dusseldorf, Germany.
