At this year’s Labelexpo, Xeikon plans to showcase its Xeikon 3030 Plus digital label press, which is based on the proven platform of their 3000 series of Xeikon Engines. The 3030 Plus offers full optimization with actual label size with its variable width of 8 inch to 13 inch and unlimited label length due to the unique full rotary technology. This allows the converter to fully optimize print runs with actual size of labels. The press runs at 15 m/min irrespective of label lengths and number of colors applied. The company labels it as a true
full-rotary press.
Xeikon presses offer a number of unique features important for advanced label production, such as competitive cost-to-print without applying click models, speed and size upgrades on the floor as volume and size demands grow in addition to strong color management features.
The Xeikon toner for label presses offer FDA compliance for direct food contact as the only manufacturer in the digital space, the highest light fastness and top print quality of 1,200 x 3,600 dpi. The advanced dry toner technology offers a wide color gamut saving time and money on special colors.
“Labelexpo in India is an important exhibition for Xeikon. This is not our first participation at the expo; it signifies our continued commitment to the Indian market and our expectations that Indian label converters are increasingly getting to invest in digital print solutions. The new ownership of Xeikon by the FlintGroup will also play an important role in this Labelexpo,” says Neeraj Jagga, sales channel manager (South Asia), Xeikon.
Xeikon plans jointly with FlintGroup to participate in the next LMAI Conference, Labelexpo Europe, and also host a Xeikon Café in 2017, which will display solutions from Xeikon and their partners to experience the total integrated label converting concept in practice.
“At present, Xeikon is working on fusion technology wherein we are integrating different digital technologies to build complete online end-to-end solutions for high value labels with lots of different embellishments for wine and cosmetics labels,” shares Jagga.
Xeikon is more committed to Indian market than ever before and being part of the FlintGroup, the company sees a faster expansion in India with their direct sales team, service team and sales partners. “We also expect to see a strong market presence with our colleagues from FlintGroup. Xeikon wants to be a key player in the Indian digital label space and we trust our solutions make a significant difference to what is offered by other technologies,” Jagga concludes.
