With emphasis on safe food packaging, Hubergroup promoted it MGA and Gecko range of inks at PackTech India held at Mumbai on 15–17 December. MGA Natura is ideal for special sheet-fed offset for printing organoleptically neutral print products on absorbent substrates. It is suitable for printing of food packaging made from paper and board. The prints made with Natura require inline application of an organoleptically neutral water-based coating. The MGA range of inks was launched in India earlier this year.

PGI to launch Precicut 330
Aurangabad-based PGI Technologies has plans to showcase its new product line at this year’s Labelexpo India. The company, which manufactures tooling and equipment for the narrow web label printing industry, will launch its 3-color flexo press with 330 mm web width. The press features two diecutting stations, a turn bar and hot air drying. Factory trials have reached a top speed of 90 m/min.
Emba at IndiaCorr Expo 2016
Emba will once again be present at IndiaCorr Expo 2016 being oragnized by ICCMA. Emba is one of the first European companies to successfully enter the Indian corrugated industry with in-line case makers. At the event, the company will be playing videos of its installations across India. Although no machines will be demonstrated live at the show, Emba will be promoting its flexo folder-gluer quick set machines, Emba 170 QS FFF and Emba 245 QS FFG. It will also talk about the innovative and patented Emba non-crush converting technology, Emba 175 QS Ultima and Emba 245 QS Ultima.
Gayatri Rub Tech invests in a second plant in Gujarat
Gujarat-based Gayatri Rub Tech produces rubber and chrome rollers for photogravure printing, solvent and solvent-less lamination machines. Although the Indian market has significant potential for the company, Gayatri Rub Tech plans to gradually expand its line across the world. At present, Gayatri acquires 30% of its business revenue from the Gulf, African, Austrian and Portugal regions. By participating at the upcoming K-Show, Gayatri Rub Tech looks to further extend its trade in the global marketplace.
