DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions – one of the world’s leading flexographic platemaking systems providers – is introducing new branded plates to give customers the confidence that they are receiving authentic DuPont Cyrel material and to reinforce its commitment to quality assurance in India.

The branded DEC 185 – a low medium durometer digital plate for corrugated board applications which can withstand demanding requirements – will be available across India in May, as DuPont Cyrel continues to develop solutions to deliver optimum results while addressing the challenge of counterfeit products. The product is being launched through Creative Graphics, leading plate suppliers to the corrugated industry.

This new version of the DEC 185 has the DuPont Cyrel logo embedded into the plate to ensure both the raw material and finished plate are clearly identified as genuine products,” said Edwin Koh, AP commercial leader, DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions. “The branded plate has been specifically developed for certain territories and represents the latest step in our ongoing efforts to assure customers that they are working exclusively with the authentic DuPont Cyrel plate material they require and expect”.

Our supply chain teams and partners are working together to ensure the new branded DEC 185 is made available in India promptly,” added Edwin.

The branded base technology has already been successfully introduced in the region, with the DuPont Cyrel HDC high durometer analogue plate now in wide circulation. “We have been supplying branded plates for the analogue process for some time, and with the DEC 185 we are now extending this to the digital workflow, said Gururaj Kirsur, sales manager, South Asia, DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions.

Ideal for corrugated post-print, sacks and rough paper surfaces, the robust DEC 185 is an all-purpose plate that delivers excellent ink transfer for superior printing uniformity, and better-quality reproduction through high exposure resolution.

We are delighted to be introducing the new branded plate to the market and to work with our customer partners to deliver authentic and quality material,” said Deepanshu Goel, CEO, Creative Graphics Solutions India. “This move underlines our commitment to offering solutions that cater to the business requirements of our customers across the country.”
