The 12th Printpack India 2015 to be held from 11 to 15 February at the India Expo Centre at Greater Noida in Delhi NCR is a platform for the buyers and sellers of prepress, inpress, postpress, finishing, converting, digital and signage and packaging machines. It will provide a forum for exploring joint ventures and exchanging technological know-how with leading manufacturers from across the globe. The focus will be on traditional color printing, packaging, postpress and finishing while digital and signage are expected to be crowd pullers. Indigenously designed and produced equipment and machinery will be showcased at Printpack India 2015.

Kodak Hall 3 Stand B14 

Kodak India will be displaying the Kodak Sonora XP process-free plates a new class of thermal plates that deliver reliability, quality and productivity of mainstream processed plates without any processing and chemistry. The Sonora XP process-free plates allow printers to be competitive, save money and reduce environmental impact. Sonora plates work with existing platesetters (including automation) and do not need special inks, set-ups on press or fountain solutions. Sonora plates offer the cost and waste reduction benefits of process-free plates in addition to delivering quality, productivity, and print capabilities of mainstream processed plates. They meet the demands of commercial sheetfed print production delivering strong print performance on commercial heatset and coldset web presses, offset packaging applications and short-run UV. Moreover, they are available in 0.40 mm gauge and VLF size formats, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. Kodak will also showcase the Kodak trendsetter CtP platesetter  an output device that delivers high image quality with good reliability and consistency along with the award-winning Kodak Flexcel NX system and plates for packaging. In digital printing, Kodak will display a wide range of applications including those from the newly launched Kodak Prosper 6000 Press. Kodak’s Inkjet heads and the Prosper S-Series will be highlighted as well.

SL Kulkarni Cyril Graphics Hall 10 Stand 10

SL Kulkarni Cyril Graphics (SLKCG) and sister company Sergusa Solutions will be participating in Printpack India 2015. SLKCG will not display any machines, but will showcase Goss International’s range of web offset products, Shengli’s range of postpress products for mono, duplex and corrugation cartons manufacturing and the Fuchu Shiko range of rigid box making machines with a variety of finished box samples. Sergusa Solutions will display some machines  high-speed printing quality inspection for cartons as well as PDF verification and proof reading of large format printed sheets from Beijing Daheng Imaging Company. Sergusa Solutions will also introduce an ERP/MIS software product SolPrint which has been developed in the UK and designed exclusively for the printing and packaging industry.

Malhotra Graphics Hall 5 Stand C-25

At Printpack 2015, Malhotra Graphics will display a host of end-to-end prepress solutions for both flexo and offset as well as high-end finishing solutions for digital printing. Its prepress portfolio comprises of CtP systems, platemaking equipment, workflow solutions and color management tools. Special focus will be on solutions for the packaging segment as labels and packaging represent growth markets. The packaging prepress solutions that will be highlighted include Xeikon ThermoflexX Digital Imagers. One of the key benefits of the ThermoflexX imagers is a unique 5080 dpi imaging resolution. This is an open solution allowing printers and repro houses to expose any of the leading flexo and letterpress plates. These imagers accept 1-bit tiff files from any workflow or front-end.<br><br>Other products which will be showcased include Packz, Studio RIP, Techkon and Spectro Dens. Packz is a new professional editor for the label and packaging industry. It’s completely built around the Portable Document Format (PDF), which is the standard file format for interchange of packaging graphic design. Studio RIP is one of the most competitively priced RIP and workflow in the market. It is known for its screening quality, user-friendly interface, high-speed and a vast array of other features. Another key point is Studio Rip’s flexibility  it can be configured around the customers needs, with the optional inclusion of all available features. Techkon, the color measurement instruments of the Techkon Spectro series include the Spectro Dens, which is a densitometer in which a push of a button provides one with solid density as well as information such as dot gain, dot area, grey balance and print contrast.

Boettcher India Hall 12 Stand H-22

Boettcher India will be introducing the vita range of products, which meet the test criteria of the machine manufacturers and is approved by the ISEGA. Vita products are best suited for applications in food packaging printing.
