PrintWrap, a sister concern of Alpha Industries in Chennai, has revealed how their latest installation of a brand new Rhyguan Plus Series is giving them a new potential to offer more flexibility in printing and production process. The advanced Rhyguan finishing system with multiple embellishments encompassing varnishing, screen printing, cold and hot foiling, lamination, and die-cutting (flatbed or rotary with semi or full rotary mode) is supplied and installed by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), which is a source of many other machines at PrintWrap now productively running to contribute in bringing success to the company.

An old bastion in the region’s commercial printing and packaging market, establishment of Alpha Industry is dated back to 1978. Over the years, the company kept expanding its product line, machine portfolio, and business verticals. It was in 2012 when it branched out PrintWrap as its sister concern.

“Among those who supply machines and equipment to us, FIG is one of our closest allies. We bought our first Mark Andy 2200 press from them in 2007,” recalls M Abraham Roy, partner, Alpha Industries.

He adds, “Satisfied with the machine and unconditional support from the supplier, we bought our second machine from FIG in 2015, that’s an 8-color Mark Andy 2200 full UV label press. In the following year, what we added new to the portfolio was a Rotoflex VSI with Nikka inspection camera. This is how we progress with constant machines from FIG. This is not the end. In 2020, we made a milestone post-Covid installation of a 10-color Mark Andy Performance Series P-7, followed by our second Rotoflex VSI with Nikka inspection camera in the next year. And the latest is the Rhyguan Plus Series with multiple embellishments.”

Roy has been joined by his son Mathew Vaidyan A in the business. “Operating across our two units, we predominantly work for clients from two key sectors, namely liquor and FMCG. We are really thankful to FIG for the capable, efficient, and cost-effective machines with which we could meet any demand from our clients who are ideally very quality conscious,” says Mathew Vaidyan A, proprietor, PrintWrap.

He continues, “So far, every single machine we buy from FIG is a best-in-class model. Our latest addition, Rhyguan Plus Series, which is designed and engineered for multiple embellishments, is no exception. Output of this machine is ideally great when it comes to finishing digitally printed labels with high-quality embellishments. In a way, its advanced capacity of carrying out multiple embellishments adds new value to labels or packaging graphics that eventually stand out amid crowds.”

Gaurav Roy, director, Flexo Image Graphics, shares, “It’s good to be partnered with PrintWrap as one of our valued customers for years. Their constant investments in our machines have proved that they are not only a repeat buyer but also satisfied with our products and service. Besides quality products, we equally prioritize in providing quality after-sales service too.”

FIG has a centralized customer support department to serve customers across India from its main office in Delhi through branch offices in Mumbai and Chennai. In addition to Mark Andy, Rhyguan, and Rotoflex, they deal with other leading global brands like Luster, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, DYM Machinery, and others.

FIG is showing the latest solutions from Rhyguan, Mark Andy, Rotoflex and other brands at LabelExpo India 2024 from 14 – 17 November at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR). FIG will be present at stand C13 in hall 9.
