Cosmo First, a provider of rigid and flexible packaging and specialty chemicals, has commenced production of its window films under the brand Cosmo Sunshield.
According to the company, Cosmo Sunshield’s window films utilize nanotechnology to filter sunlight, allowing natural light to illuminate interiors while blocking up to 90% of harmful infrared (IR) rays and more than 99% of ultraviolet (UV) rays.
The product portfolio includes heat-rejection films that maintain indoor comfort without sacrificing daylight, as well as safety and privacy films that offer shatter resistance and varying levels of visibility. Available in a range of shades and styles, these glass films are engineered for versatility, catering to residential, commercial, and automotive applications across India, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East.
“Extreme heat waves and rising energy demand require decisive action. Through Cosmo Sunshield, we are not merely introducing window films; we are offering a solution for the challenges of our time,” said Pankaj Poddar, Group CEO, Cosmo First. “With India’s ambitious sustainability goals and our commitment to innovation, Cosmo Sunshield is a step towards a cooler, safer, and more resilient world.”
