DGM, a leading manufacturer of converting solutions for the folding cartons and corrugated packaging segments, showcased a range of products at China Print 2025. These include the TechnoFoil 1050FLCD automatic foilstamping machine with inline foilstamping, diecutting and stripping; the SmartFoldServo X 800SL automatic folder gluer, TechnoFold1100SL folder gluer with new generation features and a two-piece automatic folder gluer called T-Fold.

DGM also conducted a virtual demonstration of its Duo Press, which can do hotfoil stamping with both longitudinal and transverse foil together with inline diecutting and stripping.

Puneet Agarwal, managing director at DGM India, along with Himmat Singh Bhati, DGM regional manager North and West India and Sumanta Chowdhury, DGM regional sales manager for East and South India and the subcontinent, participated in the show held from 15 to 19 May at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

China Print proved to be quite successful for the DGM Group as the company booked 50 machines – 35 machines for the Chinese market and 15 for exports.

A total of eight deals from India were finalized at China Print 2025, company officials said. CDC Printers from Kolkata booked a SmartFold800PC, Supac Corrutech from Ahmedabad booked a TechnoFold1100PC, and RV Pack from Raipur booked a Technocut1050S automatic diecutter with stripping.

Basant Digital from Meerut booked a SmartFlute 1450 automatic flute laminator, Meerut’s SK Offset booked a TechnoFold1100SL automatic folder gluer and three more machines, including a SmartFlute flute laminator, a TechnoFold and a Technocut1050s automatic diecutter.

“The customers were quite impressed with the new generation SmartFoldServo X and TechnoFoldServo X folder gluers that DGM displayed. The folder gluers come with fully servo controller and are available with motorized, memorized and job manager features for quick changeovers,” Agarwal said.

The customers said the exhibition was bigger and better than drupa24, Agarwal said, adding that Indian visitors were reasonably present at the show despite visa rejections and India-Pakistan border issues.
