Rhyguan, a specialist in label finishing represented in India by Flexo Image Graphics, will showcase its smart converting solution at the LMAI Conference 2025 from 3 to 6 July in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This year’s theme is ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries.’

Speaking about the brand’s increasing presence in India, clientele expansion, and innovations, Happy Cao, export manager, Zhejiang Rhyguan Machinery, says that in this competitive market, four core pillars make Rhyguan machines stand apart — technical superiority, market adaptability, India-specific advantage, and clear value proposition. “Our technical superiority is about precision, speed, and stability, which are critical for labels.”

When we talk about market adaptability, our products and solutions address material/application diversity and future-proofing. After all, we have an India-specific advantage as we keep leveraging our partnership with FIG for trust and local reliability. We assure a clear value proposition for less waste, more uptime, and quick ROI,” Cao says.

We recognize India as a high-growth market where our post-Covid installations of Rhyguan machines are consistently rising across the country every year. Building on this momentum, we aim to drive breakthroughs through our three key innovations—Plus-330/420 modular systems, Smart-370/450 for intelligent inspection, and TOP-330/450 for digital finishing,” Cao says.

The Rhyguan PLUS-330/420 are multi-process and combinable modular machines that enable flexible production scaling. On the other hand, the Smart-370/450 are AI-driven quality control solutions for precision manufacturing. The Top-330/450 are highly advanced & efficient digital die-cutting systems for streamlined post-press operations. “Plus-330/420 are the latest models with some core innovations,” Cao says, adding, “These modular finishing systems feature high-gloss varnish and screen embellishment unit for adding luxury textures and 3D effects to small-batch labels and hybrid digital-analog flexibility to handle complex jobs in a single pass.”

As automation is elevating Rhyguan’s finishing solutions from mechanical workhorses to self-optimizing production ecosystems, this transformation directly tackles the surge in short-run and high-value label jobs—a trend surging in markets such as India. “Our breakthroughs in automation include closed-loop servo control; modular auto-registration system; and 24×7 remote diagnostics hub. Real-time machine data is streamed to Rhyguan’s China Technical Center, enabling instant troubleshooting with downtime being slashed by 60% via predictive fixes and FIG’s local rapid response,” Cao says.

Modularity is the heart of Rhyguan’s customer-centric design, she says. For printers facing volatile demand and hyper-customized jobs, modularity isn’t just a feature but an operational survival. “Our systems such as the Plus-330/420 transform rigid production lines into agile, future-proof platforms through on-demand flexibility, zero-waste agility, auto-registration technology, and scalable investment protection,” Cao says, adding, “In essence, Rhyguan machines combine force with strategic safeguards, ensuring high-speed finishing without compromising to longevity or accuracy.”

Sustainability is engineered into every machine at Rhyguan. The company, she says, empowers printers to achieve higher efficiency with lower environmental impact through core innovations such as energy intelligence to reduce standby energy waste by 40%; waste minimization for precision over excess; and AI-powered vision systems (100% inspection) to reduce substrate waste by 15% by detecting defects in real-time at 150m/min speed.

Rhyguan keeps expanding its clientele in India through dedicated local technical support & after-sales service from FIG whose centralized customer support department connects the Delhi head office and branches in Mumbai and Chennai.
