Trio Motion Technology India highlighted a range of automation solutions designed specifically for the packaging industry, at Packvision Expo 2025 in Pune. Known for its expertise in motion control, the company demonstrated how its technology could help improve efficiency and simplify machine design across various stages of packaging.

During an interaction, Sydney Quadros, sales vice president, Trio Motion at the expo explained that the company was focused on presenting a practical lineup of solutions that could be adopted across different types of packaging machinery.

What we showed is a representation of what’s possible on the packaging machine lines,” he said. “These are practical solutions that can enhance how packaging operations run.”

One of the standout features was its centralized controller, which brings both machine and robot operations onto a single platform. This is a key differentiator for Trio Motion, as most OEMs and automation suppliers continue to use separate controllers for machine and robotic systems, he said. “Our USP is the centralization of the machine and the robot in one controller,” Quadros said. “Many OEMs still rely on separate systems. With our approach, everything is integrated, and that simplifies things a lot.”

The company’s solutions are designed to help OEMs build efficient and cost-effective machines. According to the spokesperson, the goal is to make it easier for OEMs to deliver high-performance machines. “Our aim at Trio Motion is to help machine-building OEMs to make machines that are smarter, faster, and more economical,” he said.

At the expo, Trio Motion demonstrated its capability to support automation across the entire packaging line—from primary processes, such as filling and sealing, to secondary packaging and even tertiary operations. “We have solutions for all levels. Whether it’s primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging, we can bring automation to every part of the line,” Quadros added.

At the expo, Trio Motion aimed to promote automation in the entire packaging line to make the process efficient and cost-effective.
