UFlex
PCR-based tube series branded Greenika

FlexiTubes, the tube packaging division of UFlex, will showcase its range of sustainable tube solutions at CMPL Expo 2025, scheduled to be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 9 to 11 July 2025.

The company will feature its PCR-based tube series branded Greenika, produced using USFDA-approved Post-Consumer Recyclate (PCR). UFlex recently received USFDA certification for its recycling process, enabling the use of recycled polyethylene (rPE) in packaging applications. The certification supports the company’s efforts to advance a circular economy and reduce plastic waste.

According to UFlex, the raw material for these PCR tubes is sourced internally through the company’s integrated recycling and manufacturing systems, ensuring consistent quality and supply while lowering the environmental footprint.

The PCR tubes retain key packaging features such as high-definition reverse rotogravure printing and various decorative finishes, allowing brands to maintain shelf appeal while shifting to more sustainable solutions. The tubes are designed to offer strong barrier properties, product protection, and compliance with global safety and regulatory standards.

Alongside the Greenika range, FlexiTubes will display other sustainable tube formats, including Earthika, Kraftika, and Remika, developed to address different environmental objectives such as recyclability, biodegradability, and reduced carbon footprint.

The company says these solutions aim to support brand owners in meeting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, which have become a growing focus across markets.

FlexiTubes will be present at Stand A158, Pavilion 3 at CMPL Expo 2025.

CMPL Expo is considered Asia’s leading platform for FMCG contract manufacturing and private labels and attracts participants from packaging suppliers, contract manufacturers, ingredient providers, and brand owners in categories including food and beverages, personal care, and healthcare.
