A host of brand owners, converters, and stakeholders showcased innovations and shared their expertise on flexographic printing at the inaugural Flexo Summit Asia 2025 in Jaipur.

Acme Rolltech

Acme Rolltech, an India-based manufacturer of anilox rolls and sleeves, highlighted its ArEP (Acme Refurbishment program), which is its effort to promote sustainability in printing and packaging. Flexo Summit proved to be an intelligent and engaging platform for the company, with a decent footfall at its stand.

Parag Karodia of Acme Rolltech delivered a presentation on ECG as the next step in flexography and the role of anilox in it. Highlighting its refurbishment program, he explained how rolls not in production that are either damaged or chipped lie around at the shopfloors of converters.

Earlier, the only option was to buy a new one. But now we can refurbish an old roll by reworking the functional part, the ceramic. This option is cost-effective as there won’t be any need to buy a new roll. It’s sustainable as you can reuse the old sleeve. Since the functional part was repaired, the refurbished roll works just like a new one,” Karodia explained.

Alliance Printech

According to Aryaman Julka of Alliance Printech, the Flexo Summit introduced a new format that prioritizes knowledge dissemination over product selling. This creates a unique learning environment for attendees.

On market expectations from solution providers, he said, “Solution providers such as Alliance Printech are expected to guide customers in making informed decisions. With the rise of Indian machinery, there is a growing trust in solution providers, and we are committed to upholding it.”

This conference gave us a decent exposure and the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. It will help customers better understand flexography, enabling them to make more informed decisions and ultimately drive higher development within the industry,” Julka said.

Apex International

For the anilox technology provider Apex International, the summit was an engaging platform that brought together thought leaders, printers, and brand owners to exchange insights and experiences shaping the flexographic industry.

Mangesh Bhise, director of sales, Asia Pacific and Middle East region, said, “Our expectation from the summit was to strengthen collaboration within the industry and spotlight the advancements that drive flexography’s growth in Asia. The first edition offered an impressive mix of technical sessions and business insights — from ‘What the Flexo!’ and ‘Flexo Avengers’, success stories to in-depth discussions of extended color gamut (ECG) and AI-driven technologies.”

Today’s converters expect solution providers to be partners in performance, offering not just high-quality products, but also technical expertise, quick turnaround, and measurable value. “The market demands solutions that improve productivity, repeatability, and sustainability, while maintaining cost efficiency. At Apex, we are continuously innovating to meet these expectations through data-driven solutions and close customer collaboration,” he said.

BST

Khushal Patel, BST’s director of sales and marketing in India, explained that the two-day conference was excellent, and if the organizers can retain the momentum, BST would look forward to every edition and support it too.

What sits best with me is that no presenter tried to promote their products or solutions. This is how a conference is supposed to be, with on-point knowledge sharing and discussions on optimizing production more sustainably. If sales were involved, the tone would have been somewhat aggressive, but it was focused on problem-solving. The flexo industry is still maturing in India, so a focused approach is what the industry needs,” Patel said.

Miraclon

According to Miraclon, the summit’s inaugural edition was a promising platform for converters, brand owners, and industry peers to exchange ideas and insights.

The Flexo Summit Asia comes at an exciting time, where flexography is leading the charge in the growth of printed packaging owing to its utility, versatility, and cost-effectiveness,” Steve Smith, regional lead – Modern Flexo, Miraclon, said.

Unlike conventional industry conferences, this edition will emphasize interactive discussions over static presentations, featuring regional and global leaders as key speakers. The sessions focused on engaging discussions rather than presentations, while including regional and global leaders as key spokespeople. This will bring tremendous value to those looking to attend the event,” Smith noted.

By simplifying workflows, accelerating time-to-market, and reducing hidden costs such as downtime and waste, Miraclon aims to empower customers with measurable improvements in productivity and brand performance. We go beyond a transactional relationship, partnering closely with our customers to understand their operational challenges and long-term goals,” he adds.

Multitec

Multitec, a Faridabad-based flexo printing solution provider, was an active participant, both through its presence at the exhibition and a keynote session titled ‘How to Be Wiser When You Go Wider’ by CEO Amit Ahuja. According to Ahuja, flexo printing is at a pivotal moment, and the move from narrow to mid-web represents not just a size upgrade — but a strategic business transformation.

Ahuja stated, “We expected discussions around automation, ergonomics, and productivity to dominate the event. Converters today demand technology that goes beyond mechanical excellence — they’re looking for speed, precision, ergonomics, and sustainability in one package. Market expectations are centered on achieving faster ROI, minimal waste, and automation that simplifies complex workflows.”

Sandon Global

According to Tinku Sharma, regional sales manager at Sandon Global, India, the wider Asian region is among the fastest-growing for packaging. “The residential event provided a unique platform to connect with industry suppliers, printers, brand owners, and others shaping that growth.”

We’re delighted to be part of it to deepen our connection with the regional print and flexo community. The energy, innovation, and commitment to excellence made it an exciting market for growth and collaboration,” he said.

“Our goal is to listen, learn, and contribute, sharing knowledge while understanding the technical challenges and ambitions of flexo printers across Asia. With ‘possibilities, profits, and people’ at the heart of the summit, we’re particularly excited about sharing how anilox innovation can drive quality, efficiency, and long-term profitability for printers in the region,” Sharma said.

Vinsak

The content, the layout, and the planning were exceptionally good at this first edition,” said Ranesh Bajaj, managing director, Vinsak and Rotatek. “No one was trying to sell equipment or machinery, but, of course, there could have been more converters.” Bajaj expressed his interest in attending and supporting future editions of the event.

The company promoted Rotatek flexo presses of 850 mm width for flexible packaging, in-mold labels and shrink sleeves, and several brand protection solutions ahead of its open house in Barcelona between 12-16 February 2026.

We are inviting 100 of the biggest flexo converters in the world to the open house. We already met some good converters here who are keen to attend. If anyone wants to send across their artwork, we are happy to produce on our special application press during the week-long open house,” he said.

Apart from being a partner and speaker at the Flexo Summit, Vinsak is a Gold sponsor for the upcoming FoodTekPack conference scheduled for 11-12 December in Greater Noida.

Webtech

For Faridabad-based Webtech International Machineries, a manufacturer of narrow-web flexo label printing machines, the Flexo Summit was beneficial for connecting with progressive converters, printers, and packaging professionals seeking intelligent, automation-driven solutions. It highlighted the Aeroflex S4 Series, a triple servo ELS flexographic printing machine.

The Aeroflex S4 Series prints on PET, BOPP, LD, lamitube, aluminium, paperboard, label stock, and in-mold labels. The company is also ready to deliver hybrid configurations combining ELS flexo + ELS rotogravure + offset + rotary screen printing units — integrating high-end automation.

The Flexo Summit highlighted AI integration, sustainable printing practices, and energy-efficient technologies — areas where Webtech is strongly aligned. “The event promises to be an excellent knowledge-sharing and networking platform,” says Shivnnandan Singh, CEO and director.

The 2026 edition of the Flexo Summit Asia will be held in Bengaluru on the theme ‘Flexo Next!”
