Manjushree Packtek's stand at Brews & Spirits Expo 2025
Manjushree Packtek, a Bengaluru-based sustainable paper packaging venture, used the Brews & Spirits Expo 2025 in Bangalore in late November to highlight its range of compostable paper-based food and beverage packaging aimed at reducing plastic use in quick-service and takeaway formats.
The company’s products are designed primarily for non-alcoholic applications such as soft drinks, instant meals and ready-to-eat foods, rather than coffee or alcoholic beverages.

Its paper cups and containers are biodegradable and compostable, with a thin polyethylene lining used to provide moisture resistance. While the PE coating limits full recyclability, a company official said most of the paper content can be recovered through washing processes.
Manjushree Packtek’s packaging solutions are being positioned for convenience foods such as noodles and poha, where consumers can add hot water directly to the container. The company said it is working with food brands and platforms including Neela Foods, Aashirvaad, Chai Point, Swiggy and Swish, reflecting the growing demand for sustainable packaging in the food delivery and ready-meal segments.
Commenting on the exhibition, a company official noted that the overall footfall and customer engagement were lower than last year, with fewer participants from the coffee segment and stronger representation from alcoholic beverage brands.
