SB-Constantia
Amit Shah, newly appointed CEO of SB-Constantia

SB-Constantia, the joint venture between SB Packagings and Constantia Flexibles, has officially announced the appointment of industry veteran Amit Shah as its new chief executive officer, effective 8 January 2026.

Shah takes the place of Deepak Ganjoo, who has moved on from SB-Constantia to join the Mumbai-headquartered Parksons Packaging as CEO, effective on 19 January 2026.

Shah takes the helm at a pivotal moment for the packaging specialist, bringing more than three decades of high-level experience to the role. His mandate includes steering the company’s strategic direction with a heavy emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.

With a career spanning over 32 years, Shah is widely regarded as an expert in the packaging landscape. His portfolio covers diverse sectors, including flexible packaging, paperboard, and specialized pharmaceutical packaging.

Before joining SB-Constantia, Shah served as president at Noida-based UFlex. During his tenure there, he was credited with orchestrating a significant business turnaround and fostering a high-performance organizational culture. His leadership pedigree also includes senior roles at other major industry players, including Huhtamaki PPL and ITC’s packaging and printing division.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief executive officer at SB-Constantia!,” Shah posted on LinkedIn.

In his new role as CEO, Shah is expected to leverage his track record in business transformation to strengthen SB-Constantia’s market position. The company indicated that his leadership will focus on four key pillars —Customer centricity, sustainability and innovation, operational excellence, and quality assurance.

“We are confident that Amit’s leadership will further strengthen our collaboration and create long-term value for all stakeholders,” the company stated in its official announcement on LinkedIn, thanking partners for their continued trust in the joint venture.

The appointment is seen as a strategic move to solidify SB-Constantia’s footprint in the competitive global packaging market, particularly as the industry shifts toward more sustainable and technologically advanced materials.
