Alliance Printech used Pamex 2026 in Mumbai to consolidate its robust presence in west India, with the company citing an expanding installed base in the region, repeat customers and growing interest in flexo printing technology for flexible packaging as key drivers.
Speaking at the show, Aryaman Julka, sales director at Alliance Printech, said the company’s focus this year was not aggressive expansion but reinforcing its footprint in a market where it already has a strong base. “Mumbai has been a very strong market for us. We have around 12 installations here, with several long-standing customers and repeat business. Pamex has always been a good show for us, so the idea is to maintain and strengthen our presence,” he said.
Alliance Printech manufactures flexographic printing presses at its facility in Faridabad and has been a regular exhibitor at Pamex since 2023. Julka noted that this was the company’s fourth consecutive appearance at the exhibition. “We exhibited at Pamex 2023, 2024, 2025 and now 2026. We have consistently received a positive response, and west India has always been a strong region for Alliance, which is why Pamex makes sense for us,” he said.
According to Julka, visitor response at the 2026 edition has been encouraging. “It’s been good and it’s been keeping us busy,” he said.
Traditionally, Alliance Printech has been known for narrow- and mid-web flexo presses, with a strong historical presence in the label segment. “Narrow and mid-web flexo has been our core area. Historically, our installations were largely in labels,” Julka said. Over time, the customer mix has evolved, particularly in terms of end-use industries.
“Most of our existing customers are from the pharma sector, but we are now seeing increased interest from FMCG and flexible packaging converters,” he said. Julka said while narrow-web flexo is an established technology, the adoption of flexo in mid- to wider-web applications for flexible packaging is steadily gaining momentum.
“In the last five years, flexo has clearly moved into multi-substrate applications. Mid-web flexo for flexible packaging is coming up, and customer feedback has been positive. It makes sense because flexo is more sustainable, delivers better quality, and reduces wastage,” he said. “This aligns well with the global focus on sustainability, and we expect demand in this segment to continue growing.”
Alliance Printech sees this shift as a natural extension of its long-standing flexo expertise, positioning the company to serve both traditional label converters and emerging flexible packaging players in the Indian market.
