Indorama Ventures achieves Top 5 ranking in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026

Indorama Ventures, a global sustainableĀ  chemicals company, has been ranked fifth among chemicals companies worldwide in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, underscoring its resilience in a volatile industry environment.Ā

Indorama Ventures achieved an ESG score of 82 out of 100 assessed in the 2025 S&P Global CorporateĀ  Sustainability Assessment (CSA), improving from last year’s score of 81. This score places Indorama Ventures withinĀ  the top 10% of global chemical peers. More than 409 chemical companies were assessed globally, with fewer thanĀ  37 qualifying for inclusion in the yearbook. Indorama Ventures also secured its 7th consecutive inclusion in theĀ  Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and 9th consecutive inclusion in the Dow JonesĀ  Sustainability Emerging Markets Index, reflecting sustained governance oversight, disciplined risk management,Ā  and long-term sustainability integration.

As the global chemicals sector navigates market volatility, regulatory tightening, and supply chain realignment,Ā  Indorama Ventures’ consistent ESG performance signals operational resilience and alignment with evolving investorĀ  expectations through its deployment of the Six Capitals framework, which integrates financial performance,Ā  innovation, human capital, stakeholder relationships, and natural resource stewardship to support disciplinedĀ  investment decisions and enhance value creation across its global footprint.Ā

Under its IVL 2.0 strategy, the company continues to expand recycling capacity and scale circular materials to meetĀ  growing demand from global brand owners seeking low-carbon and sustainable material solutions. To date,Ā  Indorama Ventures has recycled more than 157 billion PET bottles globally, helping avoid an estimated 3.8 millionĀ  tons of COā‚‚ emissions over the product lifecycle and divert approximately 2.8 million tons of plastic waste fromĀ  landfills and the environment, demonstrating measurable environmental impact alongside business growth.Ā

Yash Lohia, executive president of petchem at Indorama Ventures, said, ā€œOur ranking among the global Top 5Ā  reflects disciplined execution and a clear commitment to responsible growth. Sustainability is central to how weĀ  allocate capital, innovate, and manage risk. As the industry transitions toward greater circularity and lower carbonĀ  intensity, we remain focused on delivering resilient, long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders alike.ā€
