The 11th edition of the Injection, Blow Moulding & PET – International Summit & Exhibition (IMBM 2026) has recorded strong early traction, with more than 416 delegates already confirming participation, signalling interest from across the global rigid plastics and packaging value chain. The event, which will take place in Mumbai on 30 June and 1 July, is being organized by ElitePlus++ Business Services.
Participation spans injection molding, blow molding, PET, recycling and brand owner segments, with registrations continuing to rise steadily. The upcoming edition builds on the momentum of IMBM 2025, which brought together over 1,050 delegates, 450 organizations and more than 50 exhibitors from 10 countries.
Industry observers note that the 2026 summit comes at a time when the rigid plastics sector is accelerating investments in automation, recycling and next-generation processing technologies, alongside a growing focus on sustainability, the organizers said.
The two-day conference is structured at delivering targeted insights, with the first day focusing on innovations in injection molding and the second day dedicated to developments in blow molding and PET technologies. Sessions involving brand owners and recyclers will feature across both days, reflecting their growing influence in shaping material choices and circular economy strategies.
Organizers expect participation from machinery manufacturers, raw material producers, converters, recyclers and brand owners, positioning the summit as a platform for business engagement as well as knowledge exchange. The event is also expected to host more than 60 global experts, alongside 40-plus presentations, panel discussions and over 50 exhibitors showcasing machinery, automation systems, molds and material solutions.
A key feature of IMBM 2026 is the continued involvement of brand owners and recyclers, which has helped establish the event as a commercially driven platform. Industry participants are expected to focus on areas such as post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, automation, AI-enabled manufacturing, and regulatory compliance, as well as evolving expectations around quality, traceability and supply security.
With demand rising for sustainable packaging and circular material solutions, the summit is set to provide insights into market trends, emerging applications and the evolving dynamics between converters, recyclers and brand owners.
