Acme Rolltech, an Indian manufacturer of ceramic anilox rolls and sleeves, has announced its participation in two major packaging industry events — first at Hiplex 2026 from 7 to 10 August in Hyderabad and then at the 13th Elite Plus Specialty Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit 2026 (Elite Plus) from 26-27 August in Mumbai.
The company will demonstrate how indigenous manufacturing is transforming the flexo and specialty coating landscape as well as highlight its technical advancements, sustainability initiatives, and an industry-first warranty.
At the center of Acme Rolltech’s showcase at both shows is a landmark commercial offer — a global-first two-year manufacturer warranty on all new ‘Made-in-India’ ceramic anilox rolls and anilox sleeves.
Sandeep Sharma, director of Acme Rolltech, emphasized that this guarantee reflects complete confidence in domestic engineering and signals a fundamental shift in the global flexo printing market.
According to Sharma, offering a two-year warranty, an assurance no other international roll manufacturer currently provides, aims to set a new benchmark for product longevity, ink transfer consistency, and operational reliability on high-speed presses.
Acme Rolltech’s technology showcase will focus on high-performance solutions engineered for demanding flexo applications. The company’s portfolio highlights core capabilities in central impression (CI) flexo, step-drive flexo, narrow web, and wide web printing, alongside large-format anilox rolls measuring over 1,000 mm designed specifically for CI flexo, corrugation, and specialty film coating lines.

Visitors will experience Acme’s proprietary ACE (advanced Channel Engraving) cell structure, specialized laser-engraved embossing roller technology, and enhanced support for Extended Color Gamut (ECG) printing. Sharma noted that ECG capabilities allow converters to standardize their press rooms, significantly cut ink inventories, minimize setup downtime, and reduce raw material waste.
Sustainability and circular economy principles are a core pillar of Acme Rolltech’s growth strategy, particularly in response to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations that are driving the adoption of recyclable, mono-material film structures. Beyond supporting recyclable substrates through precise coating application, the company is addressing equipment longevity through the Acme Refurbishment Program (AREP).
Sharma explained that AREP enables packaging converters to restore, re-ceramicize, and re-engrave worn anilox rolls and sleeves back to original specifications rather than scrapping capital equipment. This approach directly cuts metal and ceramic waste while providing printers with a cost-effective alternative to complete replacement.
The two industry events serve distinct strategic goals for the company’s expansion.
Participation in the 13th Elite Plus Specialty Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit provides a high-level forum to engage with the complete packaging value chain — ranging from raw material suppliers and specialty film manufacturers to converters and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
As a supplier partnering with almost all leading film manufacturers in India for top-coating and specialty-coating requirements, Acme Rolltech intends to use the summit to align its technology roadmap with emerging substrate developments and global market demands.
Hiplex in Hyderabad
At Hiplex 2026, which comes earlier, Acme Rolltech will exhibit in Hall 7, Stand B-12, where the company aims to deepen its commercial footprint across South and Central India’s expanding plastics and flexible packaging clusters.
Sharma highlighted that Hiplex offers a direct touchpoint with regional flexo printers, converters, and machinery builders across the food, FMCG, and pharmaceutical sectors.
The stand will feature physical displays of its ceramic anilox roll and sleeve lineup, live technical consultations on ACE engraving and embossing rollers, and customized operational evaluations under the AREP refurbishment initiative.
Addressing the broader economic outlook, Sharma expressed strong optimism for the Indian flexible packaging sector, citing a decade of sustained domestic growth and import substitution. He said Indian indigenous manufacturing has matured beyond simply providing cost-competitive alternatives, evolving into a true technology partner capable of delivering global-standard performance with localized support and faster turnaround times.
Through its dual presence at Elite Plus and Hiplex 2026, Acme Rolltech aims to reinforce the role of domestic technological innovation in building a self-reliant, efficient, and sustainable packaging supply chain.
