Krones, a German company that builds machines and complete production lines for filling, packaging, and processing drinks and food, is further expanding its presence in India with the official opening of its new plant in Vemagal, near Bangalore, on 19 August.
The new site enables the company to support customers even more closely and strengthen its position in one of the world’s most important growth markets for the beverage, food and packaging industries.
India is playing an increasingly important role for Krones, the company stated in a press release on its website. The group is already represented in the country through several companies and centers of competence. With the new production facility, Krones is adding another important element to this network and making a targeted investment in the future of the Indian market.

Krones already operates several locations in India, including Krones India and Krones Digital Solutions India in Bangalore, Krones Processing India in Hyderabad and System Logistics India in Mumbai. The new facility in Vemagal further expands this footprint and underscores the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market.
