Eurobrillance – a specialist in high-end metallized and functional materials for packaging, graphic applications, playing cards and trading cards – is investing €7.5 million to expand its production capacity and infrastructure and accelerate its digital transformation.
The investment supports strong international growth: the company expects to double its business this year compared with the previous year. Eurobrillance also plans to create 35 additional jobs.
The investment program includes new machinery, an extension to the industrial building and significant investment in automation, a new ERP system and artificial intelligence.
Four drivers of growth
Eurobrillance is developing around four major activities. Laminating metallized PET film onto paperboard remains one of the company’s core businesses. Three additional growth areas are Zeroplast, functional barrier solutions, and applications for sports and trading cards.
With Zeroplast, a metallic layer is applied directly to paper or paperboard, making it possible to eliminate plastic entirely in certain applications.
Functional barrier solutions give paper and paperboard additional protective properties, paving the way for more sustainable paper-based packaging solutions.
A third fast-growing market is playing cards and trading cards. Eurobrillance can create the striking glossy and metallic effects seen on popular sports cards and other collectables.
A stronger international presence
The strategic partnership with Treviso-based Plastigraf also plays an important role in the company’s European development. Eurobrillance and Plastigraf have worked together since 2024, combining their expertise and market access to serve customers more effectively in several European countries.
International markets are central to Eurobrillance’s growth. Around 90% of production is exported: 46% to other European Union countries and 44% to markets outside the EU.
“This investment is not an end in itself, but another step in Eurobrillance’s long-term development. In recent years, we have deliberately invested in technology, new applications and international markets. This new phase will enable us to increase capacity while strengthening our position as a European player,” said Martin Raeymakers, CEO of Eurobrillance
From 31 to 62 employees and 35 additional hires
The company’s rapid growth is directly creating employment. In September 2025, Eurobrillance had 31 full-time employees. Today, 62 people work at the company, with operations running seven days a week on a three-shift system.
To support the commissioning of new production lines, the company plans to recruit a further 35 people: 28 in production, two in maintenance, three in logistics and two in quality control.
Eurobrillance aims to attract both experienced professionals and people keen to develop in a forward-looking industrial and international environment. The company’s rapid growth also offers genuine career development opportunities in production, engineering, quality and logistics. Working according to self-managing company principles, employees are encouraged to take responsibility and help shape the organization’s development.
“Our growth has accelerated dramatically in a very short time. Machinery and technology are important, but above all it is our people who will turn that growth into reality. We are looking for colleagues who want to build Eurobrillance’s next chapter with us. Joining the company today also means having the opportunity to grow with it and thrive by progressively taking on more responsibility,” said Boris Hoffarth, managing director of Eurobrillance.
