The brightest minds and innovators from the world of plastics will be honoured at the 7th Plasticon Awards 2015 to be held on 5 February

The world of plastics is arriving in India for Plastindia 2015. Those who are making a difference in plastics across the globe will step under one roof, to meet, visit, browse and exchange ideas at Asia’s largest convention for plastics. Stands will abound and so will opportunities at this mega event. And on the same stage, the brightest minds and innovators from the world of plastics will be honoured at the 7th Plasticon Awards 2015 to be held on 5 February.

The awards have been instituted by the Plastindia Foundation to honour innovation and excellence in the world of plastics. Over the years, the foundation has recognized those who have made a mark in the plastics sector with their foresight, skill and performance. These awards encompass every aspect of the world of plastics, from research to academia, from significant contributors to the plastic industry to brand new eco-friendly initiatives ,from crowning the fastest growing organizations to recognizing the future of the plastic industry – students with potential and aptitude.

These awards are sponsored by legends and pioneers from the plastics fraternity. There is an eminent panel of stalwarts from this discipline handpicked to choose the winners. The jury too has been selected – it comprises well-known names of the plastics fraternity. This time, at the seventh edition, there are 25 categories. This includes three new categories for Indian participants and four for international ones. As of now, the process of picking shortlisted participants is still on and will continue until 30 December 2014.
