The Authentication Solutions Providers Association (ASPA) and its co-organizer Messe Frankfurt India have announced the fifth edition of the Traceability and Authentication Forum and Awards on 6-7th July 2023 at Hyatt Regency in New Delhi.

Counterfeiting is a global problem of enormous scale, impacting every industry sector around the world and India is no exception. Small businesses knowingly or unknowingly buy counterfeit technology or equipment and suffer unanticipated costs in breakage, business downtime, and unenforceable warranties.

The Traceability and Authentication Forum 2023 brings together leaders from the industry and global experts, along with top authorities from the government, to discuss solutions and address the challenges that counterfeiting poses to the industry. It enables policymakers, brands,  ASPA members and all stakeholders to gain first-hand collaborative knowledge of anti-counterfeiting and traceability technologies, solutions and systems.

Acknowledging the support of Authentication Forum, Raj Manek, executive director and Board member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings, said: “The country requires a comprehensive, proactive and holistic counter approach. We need to make a significant change in increasing awareness, implementing authenticated solutions and supporting these with robust track and trace infrastructure. An aware consumer holds the power to fight this menace. However, we must enhance consumer awareness about this issue. Since its inception, Messe Frankfurt India and ASPA have made good progress in creating momentum in the fight against fakes in India. We are committed to strengthening this  momentum.”
