It was a sucessful Pamex show for Vinsak, a leading provider of printing and packaging solutions, which exhibited a diverse range of technologies from its portfolio, including live demonstrations of its finishing solutions at its stand.
Expressed his satisfaction, Ranesh Bajaj, director of Vinsak, said, “It was a good show for us. The footfall was amazing. Vinsak highlighted various printing systems, such as Rototec for offset presses, Lombardi for flexo machines, AB Graphic for finishing, and Iwasaki for short-run applications. The company also featured the Vinsak range of Universal Slitter and Rewinder (USAR), a digital embellishment system for varnishes and cold foil, along with label finishing machines.”
A notable announcement was made regarding the availability of the embellishment system in a sheet-to-sheet format, in addition to the existing roll-to-roll option. Bajaj said, “It will be available in the market from 1 March, in two sizes – A3 and 50×70. The first machine is going to be installed in Mumbai, and we will conduct an open house with our customer.”
Future plans
Discussing his future plans, Bajaj hinted at forthcoming announcements from Rototec about sleeve flexo machines for flexible packaging and the introduction of the Brava Intermittent Press for short-run labels. Formal announcements for these innovations are expected in March or April.
“We will be doing a formal announcement in March or April. We are going to push those sales as well,” he said.
Bajaj expressed optimism about the promising Indian market, emphasizing that capital expenditure in the Indian packaging industry is expected to remain robust.
