Amcor, a global name in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, will present its latest innovations in beauty packaging at two major exhibitions this fall.

At Luxe Pack Monaco, from 29 September to 1 October, and London Packaging Week, on 15 and 16 October, the company will showcase a wide range of products designed to deliver brand enhancement and on-shelf appeal, improve the end-user experience and meet the demands of increasingly environmentally conscious consumers.

New dispensing head on display

Making its debut at the two exhibitions will be the Grace head, which brings a new level of aesthetics and functionality to the mono-material Wave 2CC pump. The Grace head features a sleek ergonomic design that ensures effortless dispensing and is able to handle a wide range of viscosities from free-flowing lotions to thicker creams.

Equally important, its 100% polyolefin construction enables it to be recycled, where the appropriate infrastructure is in place, and it can also be produced with Amcor’s CleanStream high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) polypropylene (PP), which is suitable for contact-sensitive applications.

The Amcor stands will also feature a number of other recent product launches.  The Lipcare Next Generation applicator is available in a choice of finishes, shapes and colors, to enable it to be tailored to individual customer requirements in line with the latest beauty trends. The mono-material PP lipsticks are ideal for a top filling process and can also be produced with PCR, including material provided using CleanStream technology.

Travel sizes added to exclusive range

Amcor’s Exclusive Stick and Refill range now includes three new travel-friendly sizes – 15 ml, 20 ml and 25 ml – designed to meet the growing consumer demand for refillable, on-the-go packaging for deodorants and solid formula face and body care products.

The stick can be manufactured in PCR PP, and its mono-material construction enables easy recycling, where the appropriate recycling infrastructure exists. As well as promoting reuse, the refill offers weight savings of up to 11.5 g over the initial stick and can be produced in 100% PCR material sourced using CleanStream technology.

Amcor will also demonstrate its deo roll-ons featuring the company’s patented technology for the manufacture of roll-on balls. This technology delivers faster output to produce balls at a consistently high quality, with minimal material wastage during production.

“We are delighted to be present at these two important exhibitions to highlight our comprehensive range of packaging solutions that meet the demands of today’s consumer-led beauty markets,” said Joe Horton, sales director at Amcor. “With an emphasis on modern and functional designs, our packs combine innovative technology and sustainability considerations with endless branding possibilities, providing beauty companies with the tools to keep pace with this fast-changing sector.”

The Amcor stands are RB02 at Luxe Pack and E60 at London Packaging Week. At Luxe Pack, a second Amcor stand (PC01) will showcase the company’s latest developments in luxury wine and spirits packaging.
