Bormioli Luigi
Playing on slenderness and transparency, Swing evokes the lightness and elegance of a luxurious product that can be refilled in a single motion, and whose components can be simply separated for recycling.

Following the Murano line designed for lip gloss and mascara, designer glassmaking label Bormioli Luigi has expanded its glass makeup collection with Swing, an all-glass lipstick, refillable, recyclable and fully customizable.

Launched in 2023, Bormioli Luigi’s makeup collection highlights the advantages of a premium and recyclable material. Playing on slenderness and transparency, Swing evokes the lightness and elegance of a luxurious product that can be refilled in a single motion, and whose components can be simply separated for recycling.

Showcased at the recent Luxe Pack exhibition in Monaco, Swing features a narrower cross-section than the previous version, giving it a more modern look. Its walls are thin, and its glass content, significantly reduced, allows for up to 15% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled content).

For functional reasons, the removable central ring is designed in plastic. However, it can be made from different recyclable materials while maintaining the same mechanical resistance and closing click. By removing this ring, it is easy to separate it from the other components for recycling.

Here shown in red, black or silver, Swing lends itself to all forms of customization: interior or exterior lacquers, metallic effects, sputtering, screen printing, metallization, varnishes, glazes… The central ring is also customizable in terms of color and decoration to give the product and its refill a complete identity.

This customization concept, combined with the refillable function, allows brands to envision their products as inherently durable, precious objects.
