Maharshi Group (Maharshi Udyog) presented its latest liquid filling and labelling solutions at Cosmoprof India 2025, held from 4 to 6 December at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, positioning its equipment for the growing needs of the cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical and food industries.

At the centre of the display was the Visco Fill machine, a filling solution designed to handle both viscous and non-viscous liquids. The servo piston-based system is engineered for accuracy, speed and hygienic operation, making it suitable for applications ranging from thin liquids to thick creams, lotions and gels. The machine uses advanced servo motor-driven pistons paired with horizontally mounted cylinders.

The Visco Fill platform is designed for flexibility across a wide range of products and viscosities without the need for frequent changeovers. Operators can adjust filling parameters through a user-friendly human-machine interface, allowing quick adaptation to different container sizes and formulations. Anti-drip pneumatic nozzles and specialized valve systems help ensure clean, waste-free filling, supporting high hygiene standards on the production floor.

In terms of output, the machines are available in multiple head configurations, ranging from four to 12 heads, enabling production speeds of approximately 30 to 120 bottles per minute, depending on product characteristics and pack formats. Clean-In-Place functionality and compliance with cGMP requirements further position the system for regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics manufacturing.

The filling solutions are used across a broad spectrum of applications, including creams, shampoos, serums, pharmaceutical syrups, sauces, peanut butter, household cleaners, detergents, lubricants and automotive fluids, reflecting the group’s focus on cross-sector versatility.

Maharshi Group highlighted its Fixo Name HLC series of automatic labelling machines. These systems are designed primarily for top-surface application of self-adhesive labels on cartons, boxes, jars and pouches, with select configurations offering simultaneous top-and-bottom labelling. Built as industrial-grade solutions, the system caters to pharmaceutical, food and beverage, cosmetics and other packaging-intensive sectors.
