Team FIG with XSYS at LMAI Conference

Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), a Delhi-headquartered one-stop distributor & service provider of flexo presses and associated equipment from the world’s leading brands in the Indian subcontinent, has announced its strategic partnership with XSYS Flexo Singapore, a global supplier of flexographic and letterpress pre-press products and solutions. This latest partnership brings a range of new products comprising flexo plates, sleeves, workflow software, and so on into the product portfolio of FIG.

Designed for increasing innovation, improved productivity, profitability, and significantly reduced environmental impact, XSYS boasts pre-press products and solutions encompassing plates, sleeves, processors, and workflow software. Expressing his enthusiasm for the new partnership,

Gourav Roy, managing director of Flexo Image Graphics, says, “Joining hands with XSYS is indeed a big step for us to provide our customers the newest range of products and solutions which we have never supplied. This marks our momentous inclusion of pre-press products and solutions into our portfolio—that also from one of the world’s top suppliers.”

This partnership brings together the world’s finest range of pre-press products and solutions from XSYS with FIG’s proven record of product supply and service to a vast client base across the Indian subcontinent. “Our partnership with FIG marks a significant milestone in our journey to expand our presence in the Indian market. With their extensive knowledge and experience, we are confident that together with FIG we can achieve remarkable success and establish a strong foothold in the region,” asserts Roy Schottle, VP Asia-Pacific, XSYS.

Being a global provider of integrated pre-press solutions, XSYS had acquired MacDermid Graphics Solutions (MGS) from Element Solutions Inc last year, which in turn made the company one of the foremost players in the sector worldwide. This combined force of the two pre-press majors has so far additionally resulted in various significant values and opportunities. MGS manufactures photopolymer plates and equipment ideally designed for the flexographic printing market.

Prasenjit Das, general manager, XSYS South Asia, informs, “We are thrilled to welcome FIG on board! It’s so vital to be partnered with them as they have a good track record of dealing in the world’s best brands like Mark Andy in the Indian subcontinent. They will definitely be an invaluable ally in our journey to expand footprints in the ever growing printing and packaging market of India.”

Best known brands in the current portfolio of XSYS consist of consumables (nyloflex and nyloprint), plate processing equipment (ThermoFlexX, Catena, and Xpress), surface screening software (Woodpecker), plate mounting (rotec), and washout solvents (nylosolv). On the sustainability front, XSYS has achieved a ‘Gold Medal’ from EcoVadis. FIG is responsibly supplying the entire range of XSYS’ products and solutions.
