
On 17 September 2025, leading Ahmedabad-based packaging company Scancode Auto ID Technology, announced its strategic investment in a Domino N610i-H Hybrid Digital Label press to drive its newly launched digital printing division, IMPRENTA. The hybrid press on order contains 5-colors using six inkjet printheads (there are two whites) and two flexo units. The first flexo unit is for a primer followed by the six inkjet arrays for printing two whites plus cyan, magenta, yellow, and black at 600 x 600 DPI resolution, followed by a flexo unit for varnish.
Finalized during Labelexpo Europe 2025 and the announced on the second day of show, signals Scancode’s expansion into high-performance digital packaging. IMPRENTA is designed to meet the growing demand for agile, short-run, and multi-SKU packaging solutions across industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, automotive, industrial, and food.

The Domino N610i-H Hybrid Digital Label Press combines digital inkjet with traditional flexographic printing, allowing Scancode to produce specialty short runs and high-volume production. At its Labelexpo stand Domino is showing two new presses driven by its Sunrise digital front end. The first is a high–end n730i 1200 dpi hybrid ready for the market and the second, which is particularly interesting is the compact 410 a press with five digital color units, that will first be sold beta sites and early adopters and is likely to reach India possibly in late 2026.
