At Anuga FoodTec 2025 in Mumbai, Ahmedabad-based Maharshi Group showcased a line-up of packaging machinery designed for food, pharma, beverages, pesticides, FMCG, cosmetics and liquor industries. The company exhibited three machines at its stand — a shrink sleeve machine, a servo piston filling machine, and a double-side labelling machine.
“This is our shrink sleeve machine. We are also showing our servo filling machine and our double-side labelling machine,” Parth Chudasama, business development executive at Maharshi Group, told Packaging South Asia. “These machines are widely used across food, pharma, beverage, pesticides, FMCG, cosmetics, and even liquor industries.”
Participation in Anuga FoodTec, Chudasama explained, is vital for connecting with both domestic and global buyers. “It’s very important for us, because all food industry customers come here every year. Not only from India, but also from abroad,” he said. Maharshi Group will participate in upcoming overseas exhibitions, including a pharma-focused event in Egypt.
Established in 1989, Maharshi Group has steadily expanded its operations and today holds a significant share of the Indian packaging machinery market. “About 75–80% of our business is in India,” Chudasama noted, while adding that exports are becoming an increasing focus.
The company’s manufacturing is based in Ahmedabad, where it produces a wide portfolio of equipment. “We are also manufacturers of labels and sticker labels. Our portfolio includes powder filling machines, shrink sleeve machines, entire packaging lines, tablet counting machines, and automation systems,” Chudasama said.
