Started by partners Sanuj Aggarwal and Akash Garg in the year 2023, Omansh Industries, based in the Surajpur Industrial Area of Greater Noida, manufactures monocartons and corrugated boxes in a 1,000-square-meter space.

Omansh Industries began operations with a second-hand Komori Lithrone 640 6-color press along with a DGM Technocut 1050S automatic die-cutter with stripping, a SmartFold 1100SL folder gluer that has the capability of running straight line, lock bottom and 4/6 corner boxes of solid board ranging 170-800 gsm and 3-ply corrugated and an automatic flute laminator.

Apart from these, Omansh has a Polar cutting machine, a thermal lamination machine from PS Graphics, and a manual die-cutting machine from Amritsar-based manufacturer Accuity. All the equipment was procured in 2023 with a starting capital of approximately Rs 10 crore.

According to Aggarwal, he has had a very pleasant experience with the DGM die-cutter and folder gluer. “The machines have a fast production capacity, varied capabilities and excellent service and hand holding,” he said. He also said the second-hand Komori gives good printing results.

Omansh Industries supplies finished monocartons and corrugated boxes to Haridwar and Aligarh along with areas in Delhi-NCR. Panasonic, Al-Hayat meat exporters, Gaurav Roshni, Surya electrical division, and Finolex are some of its big customers.

The company sources its duplex boards from Bindal paper mill and Siddharth paper mill while the kraft paper is provided by Silverton paper mill and Paswara paper mill.

Aggarwal said the packaging industry is a highly competitive market and the Indian packaging industry is set for further growth in the coming years.

Garg, on the other hand, also has a digital printing operation by the name of Nandumal Girdharilal in Greater Noida with a Fujifilm Acuity flatbed press installed in 2020.

Talking about future growth plans, he said he wants Omansh to reach a target turnover of over Rs 300-400 crore.
