In industrial automation control, BST eltromat India showcased four of its machines from its roster – TubeScan XL, Bst ProView, Selevisco 9000, and Alphamix – at Hiplex 2023 in Hyderabad.
Khushal Patel, director-sales and marketing, Bst eltromat India, said the key features are the100% defect detection system and the high-resolution web monitoring of TubeScan XL and Bst ProView, respectively.
“TubeScan XL, the print inspecting system, is segment-leading in price-to-performance ratio and offers an unprecedented image resolution without compromising on the cost of investment.”
Patel says the Alphamix, a two-component adhesive mixing and dispensing system, is absolutely trouble-free. “From the heating and longevity points of view, the machine doesn’t have any breakdown.”
As far as the Selevisco 9000 is concerned, it’s a very simple machine with ink, glue, and varnish viscosity and temperature control systems, Patel said.
Although the footfall at the exhibition was a bit disappointing for Patel, Bst eltromat was able to boost the brand’s visibility and create awareness among potential customers, Patel said. At the exhibition, the company struck a deal for two Alphamix machines.
On the current market scenario, Patel acknowledged the challenges faced by businesses in terms of budget constraints. “Whoever has come is here to have a look and not to spend,” said Patel.
The increasing competition in the industry is making every converter, OEM and supplier feel the pinch in their pockets. Patel believes that even though the automation market is growing, the players are following a wait-and-watch policy before investing. “People are getting very much conservative as far as spending the money is concerned,” said Patel.
