Showcasing the future of sustainable dining, Chuk, a 100% compostable tableware brand, highlighted its entire portfolio at the recently concluded Aahar 2024 show in Delhi. Its innovative compostable tableware solution on the product wall at Chuk’s stand grabbed quite a few eyeballs.
Pointing towards the product wall, Satish Chamyvelumani, business head of Chuk, said, “With plenty of hero products, every year we come up with innovations at Aahar. Last year, it was our delivery containers, and this year the newly added beverage cups.”
According to Chamyvelumani, amid growing environmental concerns, businesses from all sectors are realising the value of sustainable packaging. Environmentally conscious consumers are looking toward eco-friendly products and Chuk fulfills their desire.
“The eco-friendly disposable options from Chuk have been widely perceived as the future of sustainable dining.” He adds, “Not being sustainable will come back at a much higher price.”
Asked about the role of innovation in the brand, he said, “Rather than innovation in design or the product, the brand innovates the application, formulation, and manufacturing process.”
Participating every year in Aahar, Chuk targets the ‘convergence of relationships’ at every exhibition. “I have enjoyed meeting old customers more than newer ones. It’s always good to see old faces.” He said they got several inquiries about their products from many new customers.
