Filigree Pack, a supplier of packaging machinery, made a notable appearance at drupa 2024, featuring prominently at the stands of its partners, Huatai and Zihong Machinery. Huatai, known for its die cutters and foil stamping machines, and Zihong, a producer of folder gluers, showcased their latest innovations at the expo.
At the Huatai booth, several models of die cutters and foil stampers were displayed. Manoj Wadiyar, director at Filigree Pack, highlighted the popularity of the 20×30-inch die cutter in India, with 15-16 units sold. The stand also featured the 28×40-inch foil stamping machine and the 22×32-inch die-cutting machine with a stripper, along with a 400x600mm foil stamping machine tailored for the digital market.
Filigree Pack had previously exhibited the smaller Huatai machine at Printpack and Pamex exhibitions in India. Wadiyar noted that while the footfall at drupa 2024 was not large, the visitors were highly engaged. “We have signed deals for four machines from Huatai,” he said, reflecting a positive reception from serious buyers.
