Leonhard Kurz, a finishing expert, will participate at drupa 2024 as an exclusive Platinum Partner. The company will unveil its latest innovations and solutions at Hall 3 (Stands E71-1 + E71-2), promising an immersive experience for visitors seeking cutting-edge finishing technologies.
Spanning across a vast 684 square-meter stand, Leonhard Kurz will showcase a diverse array of finishing products and solutions, including hot stamping, cold transfer, and digital printing. The exhibition will feature machines and solutions from Kurz subsidiaries Steinemann DPE, MPRINT, Hinderer + Mühlich (H+M), and Kurz Digital Solutions, underscoring the company’s comprehensive expertise in the field.
“At drupa we will present a wide range of technologies for digital embellishment. In my opinion, nobody else in the industry is doing this in the way we are,” said Markus Hoffmann, executive senior vice president, for the industrial products and application business area at Kurz during the pre-drupa press meet held in late March.
The showcase will encompass various product groups, including foils for cold foil transfer, hot stamping foils, hologram foils, embossing stamps, inkjet sheet-fed printing systems, digital finishing solutions, and software for packaging design and e-commerce for the printing industry.
The highlight of the exhibition will be the DM-Maxliner 3D machine system for digital finishing, offering a unique haptic relief experience and tangible 3D effects. Designed for print shops working with packaging, commercial printing, web-to-print, and letterpress, the DM-Maxliner revolutionizes digital printing with its unrivaled capabilities.
“The DM MaxLiner is not only the biggest machine in this industry segment, it’s going to be the fastest machine, the most industrialized, the most versatile machine, delivering effects which are unrivalled in the industry,” Hoffman said.
Another highlight will be the Ecofin, which is a cold-transfer decoration product from Kurz that uses a 10 μm carrier instead of a 12 μm carrier, which makes it more economical and sustainable.
“Ecofin is backed by German know-how and R&D and exclusively produced in our Asian plant and made for the world,” Hoffman said.
