Ester Industries, a leading player in specialty polyester films and sustainable packaging materials, is participating in the 12th Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Business Summit & Exhibition 2025 in Mumbai. The company will highlight its advancements in functional and eco-friendly materials and engage in discussions on the industry’s transformation toward sustainability.
Gurmukh Sambhi, business development head at Ester Industries, sees Elite Plus as a platform that consistently brings together converters, FMCG majors, technology providers, and policymakers to align on innovation and circular economy goals. “Our key expectation is deeper discourse on sustainable packaging, circular economy models, and scaling up of advanced recycling and functional film technologies,” he said.
At the exhibition, Ester Industries will showcase advanced specialty polyester films for flexible packaging and industrial use; ultra-high heat seal film, its newest development in sustainable films; PCR films, and recycled PET (rPET) resins compliant with FSSAI norms for food-contact applications.
Sambhi noted that the market is increasingly demanding sustainable solutions without compromising on performance or cost efficiency. “Solution providers are expected to deliver innovative recyclable films, high-quality food-grade rPET, regulatory-compliant offerings, and support in eco-design, carbon footprint reduction, and traceability.”
According to him, since the last edition of the summit, the company has witnessed strong growth in demand for specialty and sustainable materials, particularly high-barrier films, heat-sealable structures, mono-family solutions, and food-grade rPET. Ester has expanded its capabilities in films and recycled PET, including the commissioning of a new recycling facility focused on FMCG and food-contact packaging needs.
“Elite Plus continues to be a bellwether for industry progress, and we are glad to see the forum evolve with the times. At Ester Industries, we are committed to delivering material solutions that are functional, sustainable, and globally benchmarked,” Sambhi added.
