This is the first time for Valco Melton at Labelexpo 2022, which is displaying its Akura applicator – a hybrid coating die with a rotating bar and slot coat application.
The Akura PF is a series of extremely versatile applicators featuring several modules, adhesive channels and nozzle options to adapt to almost any adhesive coating application requirement. They are available in widths up to 1100 millimetre, and up to 2200 millimetre (Akura PFL).
“We have been in India for about 12 years and have around 34 machines in the market. The show will help us to meet industrial associates and existing customers. We are expecting a good number of convertors, printers, and tape manufacturers. We expect to reach out to more customers. This is our first time and we are looking forward to the event,” said Sourabh Nagabhatla of Valco Melton.
Valco Melton – known for its customized hot melt coating machines, which it designs and manufactures based on customer expectations – will be present at Stall No. J23, in Hall 5.
Nagabhatla said packaging is growing, especially after Covid and the eCommerce boom is one of the reasons behind it.
“Customers are expecting high-speed and reliable machines to reduce the dependency on manpower and to produce high-quality products. Quality, speed, and reliability are more important factors than just price. We recorded double-digit growth consistently in hot melt coating applications from label stock, industrial tapes, and medical tapes industries. It is going to be very sustainable for the next decade,” Nagabhatla said.
