Monotech Systems’ stand at Labelexpo showed and demonstrated its new Tracesci HyperLoop a new solution for brand protection and connected packaging produced by its track and trace division. The HyperLoop finishing machine adds security and track and trace features to labels by integrating high-speed variable data printing, real-time code verification, intelligent tracking, and advanced automation into a single streamlined platform. 

It adds data precision, scalability, and efficiency for the value addition and brand protection to consumer product and pharma label and packaging. With multiple type of security capabilities the finishing machine supports large-scale serialization, authentication, and supply chain visibility.

The HyperLoop brings next-generation automation and inspection capabilities for converters, with a combination of speed, accuracy, and smart defect management. Multiple features can be integrated for simultaneous inspection, enhancements and printing: High-speed inline inspection and defect detection of scratches, stains, de-inking, foreign particles, color, and logos; and, OCR/ICV verification with automated inspection reports. 

The HyperLoop finishing machine can simultaneous to its inspection features undertake variable data printing including 1D/2D/QR and specialized security codes. The machine has good roll handling capabilities with a dual web guide and dual rewinder and integrated finishing capabilities have digital slitting with a label transfer device. It comes in 330 mm and 450 mm widths, rated at 200 meters a minute, with slitting speeds up to 150 meters a minute.

Monotech presented some of its other products at Labelexpo including samples produced on its digital inkjet presses and finishing equipment, the Jetsci KolorSmart+ and dspark for short-run, customizable, and premium-quality labels. The company’s presence at Barcelona reinforced its position as the leading Indian innovator and manufacturer of digital presses and connected packaging solutions. The company was able to build its relationships with its global customers and distribution channels and successfully launch the flexible and scalable Hyperloop finishing system.
