At the recently concluded Labelexpo India 2016 exhibition, Multigraph Machinery launched an off-line intermittent and rotary diecutting machine for narrow web self-adhesive labels and supported films. The intermittent diecutter can work in both intermittent and full rotary mode at a maximum rewind speed of up to 200 m per minute. The company also displayed a slitter rewinder system with 100% defect detection system from BST eltromat. The slitter
rewinder is available in web widths of 330 mm, 370 mm and 430 mm. Sharing his views on the Labelexpo show, Sudhir Samant, vice president, business development at Multigraph Machinery said, “The venue being away from the main city has helped us in spending some quality time with genuine visitors.”
Multigraph Machinery also represents Zonten in India, the Middle East and Africa. “We are now marketing the Zonten intermittent offset label printing press in India,” said Samant. “Zonten has a product portfolio ranging from diecutters to slitter rewinders, which are taken care of by the Ahmedabad-based company S Kumar Industries, while we are taking care of Zonten’s intermittent offset label presses in India. The Zonten press is targeted at customers who are looking at short to medium runs.” At Labelexpo, Zonten exhibited its intermittent offset label printing press ZTJ 330 at its stand.
Apart from Zonten, Multigraph represents companies like Kunrun, and C&C Flexo. It is also an authorized representative for Indian manufacturers Kohli and Multitec. For Multitec, however, the company handles the Middle-East and African markets only. Since its tie-up with Multitec, Multigraph has sold its first Multitec press to a Nigeria-based company. The press is expected to be installed in December 2016.
