Faridabad-based Ronald India, a paper bag and web offset machine manufacturer, showcased its RSB 230 square-bottom paper bag-making machine running live at the Printpack India 2025 show in Greater Noida. The machine as well as the company had a successful run at the show, Dhanendra Pal Singh, sales and marketing manager at Ronald, said.
Singh explained that the company, which was established in 1983, has been participating in the show since its first edition. This edition, he says, had the highest quality footfall in comparison to any other packaging show. “We took note of many interested buyers. Hopefully, we will reap a lot of benefits,” he adds.
The RSB 230 square-bottom paper bag-making machine that Ronald India showed is an advanced 7-servo machine. Singh claimed it is India’s first machine offering an exclusive changeover time of 50 minutes in comparison to conventional machines, which may require five to six hours. It has an easy touch operation with a compact design that is easy to handle. Its rollers and cylinders are dynamically balanced and the machine has an on-the-run size adjustment with an automatic counting system.
“We are counted among the leading square-bottom paper bag machine manufacturers in the country. In this range, we present the RSB 230 square-bottom paper bag-making machine. These machines use rolling paper as raw material and are capable of producing 100% biodegradable paper bags. The best part about this technology is its flexibility to encompass several techniques during operations such as side gluing, roll folding, bottom folding, bottom forming, and roll paper cutting,” he said.
Speaking about the industry, Singh said technology is advancing, and the printing and packaging industries have enormous potential. “Among Indian manufacturers, we have seen a ‘let’s do better’ kind of attitude. We are also constantly upgrading our technology so it is safe to assume that growth will be consistent. Also with sustainability as a core focus, we can say that the industry will soon see better days,” Singh concludes.
