At Anuga FoodTech in Mumbai this August, Netherlands-based Qimarox showcased its product range, focusing on the ProRunner mk5 vertical conveyor for high efficiency, modularity, and scalability. Qimarox develops standardized vertical conveyors and palletizer machines.
During the exhibition, William Beelen, area sales manager at Qimarox, said the company’s strength lies in its modular design approach, which allows its machines to be seamlessly integrated into existing industrial set-ups.
“We focus on modular design that can be implemented in any industrial manufacturing or logistics center. The idea is to deliver machines that are standardized, scalable, and easy to adapt to different applications,” he said.
Beelen said the ProRunner mk5 can handle up to 2,000 products an hour and transport items up to 25 meters high, supporting loads of up to 50 kilograms.
The mk5 handles products of all shapes and sizes, making it a flexible solution for sectors such as food, beverage, and consumer goods. Its modular design supports easier maintenance and integration, he said.
For Qimarox, participating in Anuga FoodTec was a step toward building a stronger footprint in India. The company aims to increase its visibility among end users and potential system integrators in the country.
“Qimarox wants to showcase its solutions to the Indian market and demonstrate the possibilities of vertical conveying and palletizing, especially for food products,” Beelen said. “Our expectation from this exhibition is to become more known in the region and to establish partnerships with system integrators.”
Beelen said companies across sectors in India and neighboring countries are increasingly seeking standardized solutions with modular construction to ensure flexibility and affordability. “Everyone wants standardized machines at a good price, and we see the demand for vertical conveying and palletizing growing steadily,” he said.
As food manufacturing and logistics chains expand, companies are investing in automation and modular systems that ensure efficiency and scalability. Qimarox sees this trend as an opportunity to expand its role in the region.
Looking ahead, Qimarox plans to continue strengthening its presence globally while focusing on the Indian market as a priority. “Qimarox is already a growing company worldwide, and we expect to expand further in the future. India, with its fast-growing food sector, will be an important part of this journey,” Beelen said.
