Bobst Group expands distribution capabilities

Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO of Bobst Group, says, “Turkey is a strong market at the crossroads of Europe and Asia with positive growth prospects. This new subsidiary gives Bobst a strong platform to serve its customers in the region and is in line with its strategy to expand in fast growing markets across the globe. We are confident in the long term outlook for Turkey’s packaging market.”

The Bobst Group has appointed Ibrahim Caglar as the managing director of its Turkish subsidiary. Caglar says, “I am very excited to be leading this new Bobst subsidiary. The Turkish economy is characterized by a fast growing entrepreneurial middle class but we still spend far less on packaging per capita than other European markets. Thanks to Bobst strong market position and unparalleled portfolio of solutions for the packaging industry, we are well placed to increase our share of an expanding market.”
